According to Thomas Pettersson, the industrial project is unique in several ways.

- I can't think of anything like it, that you have invested 16 billion in a start-up, that's probably unique in modern times.

Real shooting can take a decade

Major new start-ups in modern industries are very much about, for example, IT giants building server halls, partly because of reliable electricity supply, says Thomas Pettersson.

- This gives jobs in the construction phase but not so many late. In this case, there are also many jobs in the production itself, he says and continues:

- But research shows that what a society can get right off of is what happens in the next phase after 10-15 years after the factory started.

He points to all the developments that can occur around the factory with new companies in the forest and automotive industry, for example. If the labor market in the region is wide enough. And of course, provided the battery factory becomes a reality.

Thomas Pettersson compares the bet with a trot race. In the clip above you can hear him tell you about the risks.
