“The biggest deal we need to conclude is a free trade agreement with our friends and partners across the Channel (English Channel - RT ),” Johnson emphasized.
According to him, Britain “has amazing opportunities to open markets for trade” around the world.
Johnson also expressed confidence that the country will be able to achieve a trade deal with Washington, which will expand the prospects for British companies in the United States.
“I know from my own experience that the Americans are actually very difficult negotiators ... This will be a continuation of a long and tense dispute, but we will succeed,” the British Prime Minister said.
Earlier, US Presidential Advisor on National Security John Bolton promised Washington and London an “unprecedented partnership” after Britain left the European Union.
In late July, Johnson promised to create a new partnership with the EU based on free trade.
