Anaheim (AP) - US rapper A $ AP Rocky (30) thanked his fans for his first concert after being released from a Swedish jail.
"I'm so happy to be here. It was a scary and humiliating experience, but I'm here, "he said at a festival in Anaheim, California.
The musician ("Praise the Lord") had been involved in a violent confrontation in Stockholm at the end of June. The rapper and two of his companions were subsequently arrested, taken into custody and charged with assault. The 30-year-old claimed to have beaten and kicked a younger man in self-defense.
US President Donald Trump had campaigned for the release of the rapper, leading to a diplomatic exchange between Washington and Stockholm. The competent court suspended the three Americans until the verdict was announced this Wednesday.
"By God's will, I'm being declared innocent," A $ AP Rocky said on Sunday night. "You must keep praying for me. I hope I do not have to go back to jail, not for something so crazy. "The prosecutor demanded six months in prison.
