Bashkortostan authorities introduced emergency mode in six districts due to drought
An emergency regime was introduced in Bashkiria until August 29 in the Abzelilovsky, Baymaksky, Zilairsky, Kuyurgazinsky, Sterlibashevsky and Khaibullinsky districts of the republic in connection with a drought.
This was reported in the regional ministry of agriculture.
“The government of the republic introduced an emergency situation (emergency) due to drought in six regions of the republic ... Emergencies are set for the period from July 29 to August 29, 2019 and a regional level of response has been established in the regions,” the press service said in a statement.
Earlier, the emergency mode in connection with the drought was announced in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
In late July, Inforeactor, referring to the regional Ministry of Emergencies, reported on the deterioration of weather conditions and high fire hazard in Bashkiria.
