No. 9 typhoon Rekima has landed in eastern China and has been heading north along the coast.

According to the Chinese Meteorological Agency, Rekima landed north along the coast after landing in Shandong yesterday.

Rekima now travels north through the Shandong Peninsula to Bohai Bay, including Shandong, Tianjin and Liaoning.

China's Central Weather Service has issued tsunami warnings to the northern coast of Shandong, Tianjin and Liaoning Dalian at 8am today.
