“On the fact of the use of physical force against a girl detained for disturbing public order during an uncoordinated action on August 10, 2019, an official check is carried out in Moscow by decision of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, within the framework of which all circumstances of the incident will be established,” they said in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

They noted that after the verification, the perpetrators will be held accountable.

“We officially declare that the information published in the media about the identity of the officer of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow who allegedly hit the detainee does not correspond to reality, the said police officer has nothing to do with the incident,” the department emphasized.

Earlier detained at a rally in Moscow on August 10, Daria Sosnovskaya appealed to the Investigative Committee, in which she accused a police officer of having hit her in the stomach.
