The Ben Te'o center was left out for the World Cup, while coach Eddie Jones called surprise Ruaridh McConnochie for Japan, announced Monday the English Federation.

The center of Northampton Piers Francis, only five selections, was preferred to Te'o, involved in a fight with Mike Brown, not summoned either, during the training camp in Italy in July.

Jones joined Bath winger and former VII McConnochie specialist (27). The silver medalist of the Rio Olympics with Great Britain has never been selected for the XV of the Rose.

Melee half Willi Heinz, third-row Lewis Ludlam and hooker Jack Singleton, all of whom made their debut on Sunday in the Wales win in a World Cup playoff match (33-19), also won have been selected.

Jones has chosen to call only two N.9, Heinz and Ben Youngs, and five pillars, including two right-handed specialists, Kyle Sinckler and Dan Cole.
