The Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that two Korean tourists were found dead in the Krka National Park in southeast Croatia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about 10:40 pm local time (about 10:40 pm Korean time), a Korean male in his 50s and a female in his 20s are believed to be women at 50m on the Krk River wooden bridge in Krka National Park. French tourists found and reported

The Embassy of Croatia has informed the family after confirming the nationality of the deceased through local police, and dispatched a Korean police stationed in the nearby Split to the hospital where the body was placed.

The ministry also said Croatian police will conduct autopsies Monday to determine the exact cause of death.

Meanwhile, Croatia's local media RTL and national broadcaster HRT reported the deaths of two tourists, who are believed to be Asian or Korean.
