“We don’t care what opinion on the visits of senior officials of the Russian Federation, especially the president of our country, is expressed in Ukraine, in the US Embassy, anywhere in the world, since this is an internal affair of the Russian Federation,” said Ganzhara .
According to him, the visit of the Russian president to Crimea is always very significant.
“They are once again trying to speculate on the issue of Crimea, to talk about the fact that such visits are illegal. But this is an absolutely empty air shock, since the Republic of Crimea is a part of the Russian Federation, an equal subject of our country, ”the deputy concluded.
Earlier, the US Embassy in Ukraine commented on Putin’s visit to Crimea.
As stated on the page of the American diplomatic mission on Twitter, the US supports the position of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on this issue.
Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held in March 2014, in which most residents spoke out for reunification with Russia.
