The art school is also in its twentieth year, and the artist Marianne Näslund has been a teacher for all years. The art school houses in Lejsta's old country shop, which is located next to her apartment building.

- The kids think the painting course is great fun. Many people come back for several years in a row, and it is fun to be the one who holds the courses year after year, says Marianne Näslund.

Want to attract younger audience

The Culture Week is organized by the Rasbo Cultural Association. Chairman Claes Mörlin says that the cultural week is aimed at both old and young, but that they are trying to attract a younger audience.

- The association's board has undergone a 'rejuvenation'. This means that we can gain new perspectives on how the cultural week can be developed and reach an even wider target group, says Claes Mörlin.

In addition to the art school, the week includes organ concert, performances by various artists, village walks and puppet shows.

- We have received ticket requests from several different cities in the country. That puts Rasbo a bit on the map, which is great fun, says Claes Mörlin.
