The man's body was found hanged in a shed, while his wife, from whom he had been separated for a year, was found dead in the bathroom with a towel around his neck, probably strangled. It was the two daughters of the couple, aged 23 and 14, who discovered the bodies and were unable to contact their mother by telephone. Investigate the carabinieri.
