Medellin (AP) - Two Colombian Air Force soldiers crashed to death during a flying show at a city festival. This was confirmed by the president of the South American country, Iván Duque, on Twitter. The soldiers had clung to a huge Colombian flag that hung on a rope from a helicopter when it flew over the city of Medellin during an air show. A video spread on the internet shows the rope breaking - and the two men plunging tens of meters into the depths. The cause of the accident is still unclear.
