The head of the Southern Transitional Council in Aden, Aidroos al-Zubaidi, said Sunday evening that the council is ready to work with the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen led by Saudi Arabia.

In a statement on the situation in Aden, al-Zubaidi confirmed the council's readiness to "work responsibly with the leadership of the coalition led by the elder brother of Saudi Arabia in managing this crisis and its consequences in order to strengthen the cohesion of the social fabric."

Zubaidi added: "We renew our confidence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which we hope and attach to the hopes and aspirations of our people and announce our readiness to work with them and through them and through them as an ally and in a strong."

The President of the Transitional Council renewed its commitment to the ceasefire called for by the coalition, recalling that he had already announced Saturday evening commitment.

On the other hand, Zubaidi confirmed his readiness to attend the meeting, which was invited by Saudi Arabia "with full openness of our faith led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz."

"We reiterate our firm position to stand fully with the coalition to fight Iranian expansion in the region," Zubaidi said.

Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met with Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Sunday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the meeting reviewed the latest developments in Yemen, especially the developments in Aden.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Interior Minister Abdulaziz bin Saud, National Guard Minister Abdullah bin Bandar and Deputy Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman. The meeting was attended by Yemeni Vice President Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and Yemeni Prime Minister Moeen Abdulmalik.

Hadi expressed his deep appreciation and thanks to the Saudi leadership represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, and the Kingdom's firm stance on the repercussions in Aden.

The Yemeni president affirmed the "strong brotherly relations" between Yemen and Saudi Arabia and the brotherly ties of love, cooperation and brotherhood, which were mixed with pure blood and blended with each other in the face of the Iranian sabotage project and within the historic historical Arab decision to restore legitimacy.

Earlier on Sunday, King Salman held a bilateral summit with the Yemeni president in Mecca to discuss the latest developments in the national arena and bilateral brotherly relations between the two countries.
