- We are a little stressed that we will be able to get everything together but we are super-tagged and hope that there will be a lot of people, says Fredrik Jelk, who is chairman of the arranging Jävsö Bercykel Club.
Wanted to develop in cycling
Järvsö Skills Park began with the tourist office's destination Järvsö conducting a sustainability work where it stuck to development in the bicycle area. Eventually Järvsö Bergcykel Klubb took over ownership and the club now runs the bicycle park which is financed through loans and grants. And the interest seems to be great.
- I would say that everyone is here. Guys and girls, young and old. We are so happy because we have struggled and fought and have said that there will be many people, says Fredrik Jelk.
"There is nothing like it in Sweden"
One of the cyclists who visit the park at the same time as SVT is Erik Lindberg who has come to Järsvö from Östergötland to test the pump track.
- There is nothing quite like it, not in Sweden anyway. A great place.
On August 24 - 25, some of the world's best cyclists are expected to come to participate in the World Championships.
