Between 200 and 300 people marched Saturday without incident in Nantes in tribute to Steve Maia Caniço, found dead after his disappearance the night of a controversial police intervention during the Fête de la musique. Dressed in particular white t-shirts on which was written "Where is Steve?" and "Justice for Steve", the demonstrators, left towards noon, walked between the yellow crane of the island of Nantes, where the body of the young extracurricular animator of 24 years was found on July 29, and the quay Wilson.

In the procession, which wanted to be "pacifist", no overflow or violence was reported. It was made up of young people from Nantes, friends of Steve and people of all ages, according to the organizers.

White balloons on barriers
