GAZA - The Israeli army killed three Palestinians at dawn Saturday during a clash near the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, the army said.

An Israeli army statement claimed that the three Palestinians were equipped with Kalashnikov rifles, grenades and rocket-propelled grenades.

One of the gunmen threw a hand grenade at his forces, causing no casualties, the military said.

For its part, the Anatolia news agency reported that the Israeli army forces opened fire with machine guns near the eastern border area in the central Gaza Strip, and also fired lamps in the sky over the area.

The agency also said that the Israeli army bombed a site belonging to the Palestinian Interior Ministry, which is run by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), without causing casualties.

Palestinian media reported that the Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by a bulldozer, penetrated east of Deir al-Balah and started combing operations.

She added that an Israeli military bulldozer penetrated several meters, and recovered two young bodies in the Gaza Strip, and the Palestinian authorities or factions have not yet issued a statement about what the Israeli army said.
