Several parents tell SVT News Skåne that they received information about the events with explosives at the school either from their children, via social media or other media. It would be a long time before the information came from the school.

- It is extremely sad to read about an event on social media and that no information goes out to us parents, says Paula Skog, mother of children who attend school.

"Got no answer"

Paula Skog got no answer when she called the school and wanted information.

In addition to insufficient information, she feels that the school has not taken the event seriously. She thinks it is remarkable that as a mother she gets information from her 6-year-old son and not from school.

- I called all the telephone numbers that were available but got no answer, so I panicked. Then I finally got in touch with the principal who confirms what my son said, that they have to stay indoors because of a dangerous object.

"Could have gone earlier"

Information about the incident was sent out by e-mail to all parents at 2.30pm on Friday afternoon when another suspicious item was found in the school yard.

- Before we have been able to control the situation, in what way and how we should provide information without whipping up any concerns, it will take time. We also do not want to go out with incorrect information, says the school's principal Sussi Sundblad.

She feels that the school has acted right in general during both Thursday and Friday, with one exception.

- On Thursday, we prioritized calling parents who had their children in the business to tell us we were doing well. But, the general information could have gone out earlier, says Sussi Sundblad.

The reason was that, based on the information of the police, they did not consider the situation as emergency.

- It is clear that it is startling and alarming, but if it had been a life-threatening event we would have obviously acted in a different way, says Sussi Sundblad.
