North Korea launched two launch vehicles today at 5:34 am and 5:50 am in Hamheung Province, Hamheung Province.

The joint project estimated the projectile as a short-range ballistic missile and said its maximum speed was detected at Mach 6.1 and higher at an altitude of 48 km and a flight of over 400 km.

It has been four days since North Korea said it fired a new tactical guided missile.

Pyongyang has already shot seven launch vehicles this May since the launch of a short-range ballistic missile called the North Korean version of Iskander in May.

The Blue House held emergency videoconferences with the heads of the National Security Agency, the Secretary of Defense, and the National Intelligence Service.

In addition, the military officially announced that they will conduct the second half of the US-Korea Combined Forces Command Training tomorrow.

This training will be the first time that the Korean military commander will be the commander and the US military commander will be the deputy commander.

However, the troops and equipment are actually simulated without computer maneuvers.

Subsequent launches of North Korea's projectiles could lead to further provocations as the purpose of armed demonstrations in response to ROK-US combined training is large.
