The weather was overcast but the rain stayed away during the afternoon when the Pride train took off in Arvika. They started and ended in Stadsparken, where music and festivities then began.
- It is clear that I wanted more participants, but I am very, very satisfied, says Hazel Svensson.
"Not in Karlstad"According to Svensson, the atmosphere in and around the Pride parade was positive and at the front of the train an old American drove with a rainbow flag.
- It was cool, then you felt that, now we are not in Karlstad, says Hazel Svensson.
The Pride celebration in Arvika takes place between 10-17 August with a variety of events, including workshops, lectures, music and exhibitions.
