A bomb in the same day when, in Benghazi, Haftar militia general spokesman Ahmed al-Mismari announced that Haftar had accepted the UN truce proposal on the occasion of the sacrifice festival, in practice a ceasefire 48 hours.

Marshal Khalifa Haftar therefore accepted the truce proposed by the UN, on the occasion of the feast of sacrifice, the Eid al-Adha, which begins tomorrow. This was announced by the spokesman of the Haftar militias, the Libyan National army (LNA), General Ahmed al-Mismari. The Libyan media reported it, adding that the truce for Haftar, on the Tripoli front, was triggered today until Monday afternoon. Just yesterday, Haftar had rejected the ceasefire appeal, more than 4 months after the beginning of the Tripoli offensive.

Haftar forces "announce a halt to all military operations in the suburbs of Tripoli," Ahmad al-Mesmari told a news conference in Benghazi. Since April, the Libyan National Army of Haftar has been fighting to conquer Tripoli, taking away its control from the national unity government supported by the international community.
