Malmö Police writes on their Facebook page that a helicopter will fly over Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg, and keep their eyes open for car fires, but also other crimes.
Several Skåne towns have been hit by car fires during the summer and the police in Lund have asked the public for help. Two people were arrested at the end of July on suspicion of involvement in several car fires in Kävlinge municipality.
