Sacramento Kings winger Marvin Bagley and San Antonio Spurs leader Derrick White replace Thaddeus Young and Bam Adebayo in the US group preparing for the World Cup in China, the US staff said on Saturday.
"We have a lot of young players in the lineup, so we're going to be patient with the rest of the team because we still have a lot of time," said Jerry Colangelo, the national team's USA director. "We still have two weeks to decide who will be in the final group of 12 players," he said.
The American coach still has 17 players after a week-long training camp concluded Friday in Las Vegas by a victory against a team bis American (97-78), consisting of young players in which played White and Bagley.
