This is not the first time the duo is working together. When Golden Times thought about the 2013 chorus, they followed the tour, resulting in a "roadmovie biography" of nearly 400 pages.

- This time it will be a book that is about much more than just a tour. The whole Golden Age story will be part of it, says photographer Anders Roos.

Journalist Jan-Owe Wikström has followed Gyllene Tider since its inception in 1978. In Hallandsposten, there have been many reports over the years and no less than three books (with this summer's book project included) about the Harplinge pop band.

- It started with I got a letter with a cassette tape by Per in June 1978. He wrote that I got to play the tape but that he wanted it back later. There I heard that there was something special about this band, says Jan-Owe Wikström.

Circles around the last gig

The book will kick off in the very last concert but will also include deeper personal portraits with the members of the band. In addition, the fans have contributed their own memories.

How many pictures have you taken at Golden Times this summer?

- It will be about 1,500 to 2,000 pictures per night, so next week I have about 30,000 pictures to go through. And then only a third of the work is done so I will have to do, says Anders Roos, laughing.
