Shipping: Turkish sailors abducted by pirates free again

Istanbul (AP) - Ten Nigerian pirates kidnapped Turkish sailors are free again. The men are doing fine, reports the Turkish state news agency Anadolu. When and how they were released is still unclear. Their cargo ship, the "Paksoy I", had been attacked in mid-July, said a spokesman for the shipping company. Among other things, the pirates captured the first, second and third captains. The ship was not loaded and traveling from Cameroon to Ivory Coast. The seas around West Africa are among the most dangerous in the world.
