- There are a number of fans in an organ that supply it with air and one of the fans has shut off. This means that parts of the organ, some keyboard, become silent. It works for church services, but not when it's a concert. Then you want this organ in top condition, says Jörgen Martinsson, cathedral organist.
For this reason, Sunday's concert has therefore been canceled. Two more Sunday concerts are scheduled in August and Jörgen Martinsson hopes they will get off as planned.
- I have no idea how long it will take to fix the fan, but I hope it will go as soon as possible.
The fan in question has been in the Cathedral organ since 1971.
"That's what happens," says Jörgen.
