President Trump's reason for not drinking is “Dead Brother”
President Trump in the United States expressed regret that his brother and his father died young because of alcoholism, and that his condition worsened as he and his father urged them to join the family real estate business. On top of that, he said he would not drink because of his brother.

According to it, Mr. Fred, President Trump's 8 year old brother, was trained in an airline, dreaming of becoming a pilot.
In contrast, his younger brother, President Trump and his father, objected as “a waste of time” and said they repeatedly urged them to join the family business.
Under these circumstances, Fred became increasingly dependent on alcohol and was forced to retire from the airline.
After that, although he joined the family real estate business, alcoholism worsened, and he died in 1981 at the age of 42.
President Trump said, “I regret having put pressure on my brother. Everyone wanted to do the family business, but that was a big mistake,” he expressed regret.
The Washington Post says that “it is rare to talk about President Trump's regret or to accept mistakes”.
On top of that, President Trump said, "If I had a drink, I would not have spoken as a president."
