“As a result of the incident at a military training ground in the Arkhangelsk region, five employees of the Rosatom state corporation were killed while testing a liquid propulsion system,” TASS quoted the message from the communications department of the state corporation.
It is noted that three more Rosatom employees were injured. The injured were delivered to a medical facility, they receive all the necessary assistance.
It is also reported that, according to Rosatom, the tragedy occurred during work related to the engineering and technical support of isotopic power sources in a liquid propulsion system.
“On behalf of the enormous team of Rosatom, we express our deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims. Help and support will be provided to their families, ”the state corporation added.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of the explosion in a military unit 30 km from Severodvinsk, two people were killed.
