Amid the rapid deterioration of US-China trade relations, the White House has suspended restrictions on exports to Chinese telecommunications equipment supplier Huawei, Bloomberg reported.

A partial permit of Huawei's dealings with US companies has been considered a touchstone for a future change in US-China trade relations, a key consensus at the US-China summit in June.

Sources say China has recently suspended its purchase of US produce, and the White House is withholding a permit decision to allow US companies to resume trading with Huawei.
