Geneva (dpa) - In the fight against global warming, the states must better protect their forests and promote climate-friendly agriculture. This is the conclusion of the IPCC in a special report on the relationship between climate change and land. The report also shows that the global increase in temperature across land areas is already 1.53 degrees compared to pre-industrial times. Federal Environment Minister Svenja Schulze relies on more organic farming in Germany. A share of 20 percent has long been the goal.
