Potsdam (AP) - In the election campaign in Brandenburg, the AfD provides with a poster with the likeness of former SPD Chancellor Willy Brandt and his slogan "More democracy dare" for outrage. "Willy Brandt would have had only one thing left for right-wing populists: abysmal contempt," foreign minister Heiko Maas tweeted. The appeal of the AfD in the three East German state election campaigns on the peaceful revolution in the GDR is also met with sharp criticism. FDP General Secretary Linda Teuteberg accused the party of "falsification of history".
