In total, these are five drill cores from five different locations that are to be picked up for analysis.
The holes will be between 60 and 120 meters deep and will be filled with cement when the drilling is completed.
The company wants to do similar test drilling in Österlen, but there the resistance has been greater, partly from landowners and local politicians and partly from the protest movement VetoNu.
Hörby Municipality has given a clear sign for test drilling in Lyby, as well as the landowners.
"By law, we cannot prevent the bedrock from being explored and then it is positive to gain knowledge about geology in Sweden, so we think it will be exciting to see what you come up with," says Otto Millbourn, one of the landowners, to TT.
However, whether he would also be positive to a mine in the area is too early to say, because it depends on the location and design of the mine. But in general, he is positive about vanadium breaking in Sweden.
