08 August 2019 The 83-year-old actor Alain Delon had a stroke and had a "mild" brain haemorrhage several weeks ago and has "quietly rested" in a clinic in Switzerland ever since. His eldest son Anthony Delon announced it to the AFP.

His vital functions are "perfect and his condition stabilized, according to the doctors," says Anthony Delon.

"My father had a cardiovascular accident and a mild cerebral hemorrhage," the actor's eldest son announced. "He was operated on at the Pitié-Salpétriere (a well-known hospital in Paris, ed), where he spent three weeks in intensive care.
