Al-Jazeera field sources reported the death of a civilian and the injury of a child, after renewed clashes between the forces of the Presidential Protection Brigades on the one hand, and the gunmen of the UAE-backed security belt and tribal militants on the other hand, in the Crater neighborhood of Aden city in southern Yemen.

The sources added that other clashes erupted in other neighborhoods of Aden, which used tanks and heavy weapons, and expanded to Khor Maksar and Jabal Hadid camp, while the legitimate government forces besieged camp twenty of the security belt.

The developments came a day after five people were killed and a number of wounded in clashes yesterday, as a result of clashes between the Presidential Protection Forces and the gunmen of the security belt near the presidential palace in the city.
