The General Directorate of Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior has warned families of domestic accidents during the Eid al-Adha period, calling for the need to adhere to safety guidelines, stressing that they have raised the level of readiness to deal with any emergency.

In particular, the General Directorate of Civil Defense called on members of the community to follow the safety and protection measures in their homes through the installation of smoke detectors through the system «fortress», launched by the Ministry of Interior, in order to protect lives and property, as well as to ensure the separation of electricity and electrical appliances in case of family travel Or leave it home, and abide by the conditions and standards of public safety, and benefit from the advice and guidance of the Civil Defense, to avoid accidents in all its forms, in order to preserve the public safety, which the Ministry of Interior is working to strengthen with individuals and institutions.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior, Major-General Jassim Mohammed Al-Marzouqi, in press statements, confirmed the readiness of the Civil Defense and its centers and points scattered throughout the country to receive Eid al-Adha, through raising the degree of preparedness, and preparedness to deal with any emergency incident during the celebration of Eid.

He said that all civil defense departments at the state level were instructed to raise the readiness ratio of manpower, mechanisms and equipment to provide the best services to preserve lives and property.He also directed to conduct inspection visits to the civil defense centers in the country to determine the readiness and speed of responding to emergencies.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense has set out nine procedures to be followed in the event of a fire:
