If you are traveling to Rome, Italy, there is something to be aware of.

On Monday, foreign media, including Fox News, reported on a new regulation issued by the city of Rome, Italy.

In July, Rome announced several sanctions. Among them was a proposal to protect the Spanish Steps, some 300 years old.
Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this marble staircase has been loved by many people since the 18th century. It was a relaxing shelter for tired tourists, and at dusk it created a different atmosphere.

However, in the future, you will no longer be able to relax on the Spanish steps or enjoy the sunset. It was forbidden to sit on the stairs itself.
Authorities said, "If you are caught on the stairs, you will be fined 250 euros and about 340,000 won in Hanwha." Also, if you are going to dirty or damage the stairs, you will have to pay 400 Euros and Hanwha KRW 540,000. Jumping into a fountain or dragging a suitcase with wheels was also prohibited.

Upon hearing the news, the Italian minister of culture responded by saying "excessive action." Among the locals, the measures were called "fascist ideas." However, some have expressed support for the proposed regulation, saying, "There is no way to protect the cultural heritage."

It is 'news pick'.
