The Russian Foreign Ministry called the amount of debt Ukraine to the CIS

2019-08-07T03:04:00.476Z

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Ukraine’s debt to the CIS is more than 300 million rubles. This is reported by the Izvestia newspaper.

It is noted that Kiev stopped paying contributions back in 2014.

“Today, the amount of non-transferred funds, that is, the actual debt of Kiev, is more than 300 million rubles,” the Foreign Ministry said.

The Foreign Ministry explained that Ukraine de jure remains a full-fledged state - a member of the CIS.

Earlier, Kiev came out of a number of agreements signed within the CIS.

In particular, in June, the Ukrainian government unilaterally terminated the agreement with the CIS countries on the international certificate of weighing freight transport.
