If there were elections next Sunday and the Greens moved into the Chancellery with an absolute majority - not much would change. Through the streets the traffic rolled, the CO₂ would escape further into the atmosphere, invisible and destructive. The oceans would continue to warm up, the sea level would rise. And no one would stop you from ordering a mini-fan for 2.99 euros from your bed online with a sausage bread in your hand, and a messenger would bring it to your bed two hours later. Or imagine another example of ad absurdum-led consumption.
