“The crews of a large anti-submarine ship and support vessels are participating in exercises to prevent terrorist threats in the area of the Northern Sea Route,” TASS quoted the press service of the fleet as saying.
It is noted that during the planned trainings the tactics of action are worked out by anti-terrorist units based on board the large anti-submarine ship Vice Admiral Kulakov.
The Arctic campaign of a detachment of ships and support vessels of the Northern Fleet began on August 5.
Earlier it was reported that the naval search and strike group of the Northern Fleet completed a complex of anti-submarine missions in the Baltic Sea.
