Gilroy (dpa) - One and a half weeks after the fatal shootings at a carnival in Northern California, the FBI has launched investigations into domestic terrorism. The gunman who had fired into the crowd with an assault rifle in Gilroy had kept a list of targets. These included religious institutions, political groups, and government and courthouse buildings. The FBI official did not want to say what kind of facilities it was. The attacker had killed three people and injured more than a dozen. He was shot dead by policemen at the scene.
