An 11-year-old boy has died on the afternoon of Wednesday after being hit by a tourist while riding his bicycle through the municipality of Congosto de Valdavia , in the province of Palencia, as reported by Europa Press sources of the Emergency Service 112 .
The event occurred at around 15.43 hours at kilometer 13 of the P-225 road, in Congosto de Valdavia (Palencia), at the crossroads to Baños de la Peña .
To the place of the events, troops from the Civil Traffic Guard, a sanitary helicopter, a mobile UVI, a basic life support ambulance and Primary Health care personnel from the Guardo health center have been displaced.
At the scene, Sacyl health personnel have tried to resuscitate unsuccessfully the injured minor, a male of about 11 years, who has finally died.
