“Water continues to grow in the Amur River near the city of Khabarovsk. About 330 summer cottages are located on the Dachny, Kabelny and Bolshoi Ussuriysky islands in the flooding zone, ”the report says.

It is noted that the water level in Amur at 06:00 (02:00 Moscow time) was 476 cm, adding 18 cm per day, with unfavorable marks of 450 cm, dangerous marks - 600 cm. It is expected that within two days it will rise another 30-40 cm.

The ministry emphasized that the development of the flood situation is closely monitored by the regional head of the Ministry of Emergencies, the Far Eastern UGMS, authorities at various levels, and various departments. So, on the island territories of Khabarovsk, where the suburban areas of the townspeople are mainly located, rescue duty on boats has already been organized.

Also, over the last day, there was a 16 cm increase in water level on the Ussuri River, which led to the flooding of 18 household plots and about 70 kitchen gardens in the village of Korsakovo-2.

In addition, in the village of Shumnny of the Vyazemsky region, heavy rains led to the spill of the Hospitalny and Shumnny keys and a 115 cm rise in water in the Left Podhorenok River.

“At present, the water from Shumny has partially receded. Now there are no more flooded houses in the village, but there are flooded house adjoining territories - about 20 yards. An interdepartmental commission was put forward to calculate the damage to the village. The main task is to conduct all calculations and pump out water from wells and basements. Then it will be necessary to deal with the drying of housing, ”the committee on civil protection said in the regional government committee.

Another subject of the Russian Federation affected by the flood is the Irkutsk region. The first flood in the region began in late June due to heavy rains, the second wave occurred at the end of the next month. According to the latest data, 25 people were killed, seven more were missing. Meanwhile, on the eve of the Ministry of Emergencies indicated that in the region there were no more flooded houses and important social facilities.

According to the press service of the regional government, almost 44 thousand people received one-time financial assistance in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. In addition, over 22 thousand residents of the region received compensation for the complete (100 thousand rubles) or partial (50 thousand rubles) loss of property.

“At the moment, flood victims have been paid compensation in the total amount of 2 billion 334.6 million rubles from the federal budget. Recall that the region received two tranches: 662 million rubles and 2.3 billion rubles. The total amount of funds received is 2.9 billion rubles, ”the report said.

“Such a maximum happens once every hundred years. The situation is very complicated. Three gates are now open, but the inflow is still higher than the discharge, ”she pointed out at a meeting of the emergency prevention and response commission in the Magadan Region.

According to weather forecasts, in the next two days the rainfall will decrease in the Tenkinsky and Susumansky districts, but the main blow of the elements will come from the Magadan and Olsky urban districts. At the same time, on Friday, August 9, the absence of rain is expected throughout the region.
