The Sudanese Central Committee of Doctors announced that a demonstrator was shot dead during demonstrations in the northern city of Dongola, hours after the signing of the constitutional document between the Transitional Military Council and the forces of freedom and change.

Informed sources told the island that the protests in the city of Dongola broke out due to power outages for three consecutive days in some areas.

The sources confirmed that shots were fired from an unknown location, near the house of the governor of the northern state. She pointed to the death of a dead and a number of wounded.
