Ombudsman from Ingushetia became legal representative of battered girl
The Ombudsman for Children in Ingushetia Zarema Chakhkieva became the temporary legal representative of seven-year-old Aisha Azhigova, who was brought from the republic with multiple injuries to Moscow.
“I decided to take this responsibility upon myself and become a legal representative. So far for three months, and then it will be visible, ”Chakhkieva said.
She also thanked everyone for the support of the girl and for the help in her rehabilitation.
Earlier, doctors at the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology Leonid Roshal told about the completion of preparation for the amputation of the girl’s right arm.
Aisha Azhigova was taken to the hospital in Ingushetia on July 4 with many bodily injuries.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on this fact.
Her aunt was arrested on charges of causing serious injuries to the girl.
