The Egyptian Ministry of Health has killed 16 people and injured 21 others in the explosion of a number of cars around the Nasser Institute in the area of Manial Cairo, noting that the injured are currently receiving treatment at Nasser Institute and other hospitals.
The Egyptian Interior Ministry said the blast was caused by a car crash on a number of cars while the Egyptian Attorney General ordered an urgent investigation into the explosion.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement that the accident was caused by the collision of a car was moving in reverse direction near the Institute of Oncology, three other cars, which led to an explosion as a result of the collision.
