Today, more than 20 employees participated in the general strike against the Hong Kong criminal Indian Act.

The Hong Kong media estimated that some 500,000 people, including civil servants, financial officers, social workers and teachers, would participate in the strike.

In particular, some air controllers participated in the strike and reported that more than 100 flights were canceled.

Some protesters rallied to shut down the subways, blocked tunnels and major roads, and there was a traffic jam on the way to work.

This afternoon, concerts will be held in eight locations including Hong Kong Admiralty, Mongkok, and Disneyland.

A large-scale demonstration was held for two consecutive days last weekend ahead of the general strike, and there were clashes with police everywhere.

On March 3, some protesters unearthed a strong anti-Chinese sentiment, such as dragging the Hong Kong flag from China's Baoan flag to the sea, and yesterday defeating the bronze statue to return to Hong Kong's sovereignty.

Chinese media have criticized violent demonstrations and urged strong law enforcement.

Hong Kong's deputy minister, Carram, told a news conference today that protesters are pushing Hong Kong into a dangerous situation.
