Cairo (AP) - A ghost rider crashed into three cars on an expressway in downtown Cairo and caused a massive explosion that left at least 19 dead and 30 injured. This was announced by the Egyptian Ministry of Health. The wrong-way driver was traveling at night on the Corniche road, which runs along the Nile through the city center of Cairo. Why the impact had led to such a violent explosion was initially unclear. The investigators did not comment on suspicions that it might have been an attack by the driver.
