August 01, 2019Ethan Elder, the father of Finnegan Lee Elder, the young American accused of stabbing deputy sergeant Mario Cerciello Rega, returned to the US embassy after having had an interview with his son in the Regina Coeli prison in Rome. On leaving the prison, Ethan Elder, awaited by a driver, got into the car without giving statements.

Legal, Hjorth is young and very tried
"He is a young boy and is very much tried, his dad came yesterday and will be back in the next few days." The lawyer, Fabio Alonzi, the lawyer of Christian Gabriel Natale Hjorth, the 19-year-old American accused of competition in murder for the death of the deputy carabinieri, Mario Cerciello Rega, said.

"We are considering whether to request the Court of Review," Alonzi added, leaving the Regina Coeli Roman prison where he visited his client.

Meanwhile, on the investigation front, it emerged from the preliminary report of the autopsy carried out on the body of the vice brigade that Cerciello Rega suffered several stab wounds on the sides and one,
probably the fatal one, from behind, in the stomach by Finnegan Lee Elder with his knife that had an 18 centimeter blade.

This morning, a prosecution and investigative summit was also held in the Prosecutor's Office: the former acquired the phone records of all those involved in the affair (the two Americans, the carabinieri Andrea Varriale and Cerciello, Sergio Brugiatelli and those of the pusher), the latter are viewing the videos recorded by the cameras of the areas affected by the affair.
