74 years since the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima 6:23 on August 6th, an Egyptian student shouts for a wish for peace

Along with the 74th year since the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, an event was held in which students studying Japanese in Egypt shouted out their wishes for peace.

The event was held at Cairo University, which has an exchange agreement with Hiroshima University, on the 5th, and about 100 people participated, including students studying Japanese at six universities in Egypt.

The event was also invited by Mr. Rashwan, who had a famous game with Japan's Yasuhiro Yamashita in the Judo final of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Greeted.

The students then went up to the stage and shouted their thoughts in Japanese, saying, “Peace brightens your heart” or “Peace is love”.

Some students also stated that they wanted to contribute to the long-lasting peaceful world in which the atomic bomb was not used on the day of the Hiroshima atomic bomb.

At the end of the event, all participants shared the tragedy of the atomic bomb and sang a song in peace in Japanese.

The girl student who participated said, “I think I was able to speak well. I wanted to convey the wish of peace from the Islamic countries to Hiroshima and the whole of Japan.”

Mr. Rushwan said, “So many students were surprised to speak Japanese. Unless we were peaceful, our lives would not be possible.”
