A child fell from the rooftop terrace of the Tate Modern Gallery, in London, and was hospitalized in critical condition.

From the first investigations, it would have been pushed: the police in fact announced that they had arrested a 17-year-old with the charge of attempted murder. The police, alerted around 13.40 (14.40 Italian), reported that the child, 6 years old, was found on a roof of the fifth floor, after a fall of five other floors. The suspect, the investigators say, "remained with the other members of the public on the platform on the tenth floor. Nothing suggests he knew the victim."

The managers of the Gallery have confirmed that after the incident, which occurred in the early afternoon, some areas of the building were evacuated and others placed in lockdown. And that the exposures would remain closed until the end of the day. The Tate Modern is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Britain: in 2018 it recorded almost six million visits.
