05 August 2019A boat with 48 migrants, including 27 women of which 3 are pregnant and 6 are minors, has arrived independently in Lampedusa. According to testimonies collected by Mediterranean Hope - the program for refugees and migrants of the Federation of Evangelical churches - migrants would have traveled for two days after leaving Libya.During the journey an unknown number of people would have fallen into the sea. Among them, witnesses say in Mediterranean Hope, a 5-month-old boy and a 30-year-old boy.
Some of the migrants needed medical assistance.
